INDIPENDENZA was born from the desire to create an exchange between the Italian public and international artists invited to present exhibition projects, with the opportunity to stay and produce work in the apartment connected to the exhibition space. “Indipendenza” captures the essence of this project and the character of the fin-de-siècle area, located in the historic Macao district, a place that has served as a residence and passage point for generations of artists since the nineteenth century.
